Whisky Reviews for Ardbeg Ten

- Very gentle, full and tasty whisky.
In comparison with "Laphroaig" 10 y.o. it is more malty and citric but not so oceanic, iodine and salty.
Empty dram keeps flavor of peat, light smoked meat, old wood and zest for a long-long time!
Gentle peat covering notes of strong zesty citrics, malt, fresh green fruits (mostly pears), peaches, almond and tiny-tiny notes of paint.
Very rich and bold! Malt, citric, zest, currants, light fresh fruits wrapped into very very smooth and pleasant veil of peat.
Stable with notes of smooth peat, slightly citric, butter, raisins and deep malt.
