Good development, the smoke, which was initially very dominant, is now wonderfully integrated. Quickly present in the glass and tasty / easy to taste.
perfectly balanced, tasty and uncomplicated ISlay with very good PLV. Both as an aperitif and as a nightcap after a sherry whisky tasting wonderful and enjoyable.
Murrays 97 points (94 for me) understandable - I quoted whisky-bible 2019:
"just close your eyes and enjoy"
Campfire and ham smoke, sea breeze, sweetness and some citrus
creamy, full mouthfeel, pronounced mouthwatering: some oak and spice, pleasant smoke mixed with beautiful sweetness, citrus and liquorice
good medium length, pleasant mixture of smoke, sweetness and spice, otherwise like nose and key
