  1. dRambo scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

    very interesting multi-layered malt
    • Nose
      89 89
it takes time, initially soapy - it opens after 20 minutes - gingerbread spices, orange, raisins, date, black cherries, raspberry pulp, mild fermentation - Rumtopf, some delicious BöllerSchwefel, dark chocolate, some leather, a touch of shoe polish
    • Taste
      89 89
dry wine with tannin, cherry jam, chocolate gingerbread hearts with apricot filling, leather, a lot of old wood, a bit dusty, tree juice, wax, orange oil, coffee - looks like a Darksherryfass - the color did not suggest that
    • Finish
      87 87
a bit dry and increasingly bitter, lots of spices - bark, tree juice, again chocolate, oranges, apricot a little bit cherry

  5. Calmar scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

Excellent flavor, very smooth, perfectly folded gives way to sharp / filled with industrial inclusions of taste / finish, it is a pity that it was not possible to fully fit these rough tones into a single picture.
    • Nose
Open, wet, soft, spicy wood, furniture varnish, raisins, prunes, lemon peel, candied fruit, carpentry workshop, tropical fruits.
    • Taste
Powerful, rich, coarser and less sweet compared to the aroma, a lot of oak, bitter bark, dark chocolate, burnt rusks, unsweetened prunes, mineral-metallic shades, some industrial notes.
    • Finish
Soft, warming, tart oak, raisins, prunes, earthy notes, metallic acidity, sulfur-mineral shades.

  6. malthead-sven scored this whisky 84 points Expert Senior

I suppose here a refill keg, which is often very good at such a long maturation, but here I miss something the accents
    • Nose
creamy sherry, a little fresh first, soft, cellar-bearing apples, gummy bears (green and white), elderberry juice, with water he pulls back a little, then he comes with more sweetness, after-eight, mint and potting soil
    • Taste
large spice variety with nutmeg, mild pepper and cinnamon, in the aftertaste slightly salty
    • Finish
not as intense as expected, but then warms up nicely, some oak and dark chocolate, medium in length

  7. DenisLeonov scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

Balance sheet (22) The porcelain is good (88)
    • Nose
Sweet, sticky, tangerine caramels ... warm wood ... melon ... spices with chocolate shavings (22)
    • Taste
Taste of spicy, fruity ... cocoa and dates (22)
    • Finish
Finish explosive ... pepper and fruit salad ... nuts and a narrow cut of dried fruits ... banana pudding and a hint of mushrooms???? (22)
