So thanks again, Samantha!
So we have a sherry to start, deep and dark with scents of cashew nuts in winter. Bittergourd, pitted prunes, charcoal ash, cinder flame, caramelised onion, cracked green peppercorns...mhmmm spicy.
Sweetness is not the first impression, but that rather tannic sourness that overpowers the sweetness. Dry on the start but gradually wets towards the mids. Strong cashew and pecan nuts, fresh barley water, sesame seeds tossed over a chili chicken garlic dish.
Cardamom pods, cinnamon and various spices to boot. Reminds me of a sweet herbal briyani rice without the meat, as there are no traces of any smoke ham, stews etc.
Dry and very sherry characterised. Quite normal and has nothing special on the end to take note of.
