what a beautiful Karuizawa
The Bourbon barrel has done a great job
from the nose to the finish consistently class and harmonious with a subtle tension
-
velvety light brown raisins
lilac
vanilla
delicate sourish note in the background
Resin from fresh wood
some coconut
nutmeg
a touch of cardamom
crumbly dry chocolate with fresh apricot
The apricot with its juicy firm flesh is increasingly coming to the fore
the spiciness remains behind
velvety skin, firm sweet meat
spicy exotic
Your mouth is getting wet
you would like to bite -
soft and supple on your lips
fruity spicy in your mouth
Wood is painted on deck
You think it is too fresh for it, it will break soon
the girl comes out of the galley
it smells of freshly ground coffee
the roasted aromas lure you
Nutmeg and chocolate sprinkle over your coffee
and smiles
it smells wonderful
Your mouth is dry
She takes one of the apricots
Your lips are getting wet from the juice
You feel how well it fits
Toasted aromas with tart chocolate, nutmeg and apricot meat
Wow -
long and perfect
You go through it again and again
and it is always something different
the nutmeg sticks to the old wood
the end:
"now it's the porous old wood fibers of the barrel ..
They are soft and still release last old aromas from the long barrel and whisky marriage
the cachous shimmer again and again ...
Baked apple juice ..... "
