The first impression on the nose is a maritime, saltier one. Add to that the echoes of sweet roasted over an open fire. Smoked mackerel. The smoky note is discreet, but still very good to make out. Little peat smoke. With a freshly cut mango, he looks very airy, light, refreshing for a Bowmore. Rape honey, vanilla pod, heather.

Very fruity, not too strong with a fruit salad of pineapple, orange, mango, peach and lemon zest. Very creamy and full on the tongue. Fine woody notes blended with black pepper, lovage and nutmeg. The smoky note is also tamed on the tongue. Moist driftwood drying in the sun. A stranded crab, victim of running water, exposed to the sun. Salt liquorice, tobacco notes.

Medium to long. Still creamy and full-bodied with now increasing smoke. The tropical fruits no longer as intense as when they started, but still present in a weakened form. Fine wood note, leather, tobacco crumbs.
