Start with a bit, after a few seconds you go: floral sweetness, dates, pickled raisins, grapes, a hint of marzipan and liquorice. In addition a proper portion of spice flavors comes through: oak wood, old leather, cigar box. Wonderfully complex!

Pleasantly creamy and oily, the Blair Athol is in the mouth. The alcohol at 54% is wonderfully integrated and can almost be described as "mild". The sweetness of the Nosing continues here. Everything is very intense and harmonious. The spice from the barrels is subtly in the background. It adds notes of light milk chocolate, which makes everything a bit more complex. Wow! Everything is wonderfully coordinated, everything pleasing and complex, nothing is superficially disturbing or anything. A treat.

Long sea! Initially, the sweetness on the tip of the tongue and the cheeks holds itself superficially. Over time, the spiciness of the wood comes back and forms a good counterpart to the fruity aromas.
