The nose is fresh and
spicy with loads of wood shavings. Warm and inviting. Then some white fruit and
gooseberries kick in. Cake. Herbal as well on green herbs. A hint of almond
paste. Candied fruit.
Rather soft on the
palate. Light body. That is compensated somewhat by a lot of sweet malt and a
mild bitter note as if from grapefruit mixed with walnuts. The spices are
ginger and white pepper. Coriander? The oak is rather loud, making it a tad

long and bitter. The wood goes over the top.
