Great distillate driven whisky. I love the fruitiness, but it has even more to offer than simply being a very fruity whisky. Wonderful!
    • Nose
Very light, with hint of fruit (white grapes, green apple peel, apple juice) and a layer of grassiness, followed by a whisper of aniseed. It has a slightly chalky quality too. A light acidity, as well as a subtle waxiness rounds everything out. I love this.
    • Taste
Lemon and grapefruit, as well as green apples and sweet apricots and nectarines. There's even some charred oak and a hint of smoke. Did I mention that I love this?
    • Finish
Chalky, with some drops of apple juice. Medium in length.

Had the opportunity to have this at the Gathering recently and it doesn't disappoint IMHO. Nice light whisky to begin or have second in a flight.

You can guess where the journey could have gone, but for my taste the whole thing is a bit too sour / bitter to crack the magical 88 mark.
    • Nose
      87 87
Primarily very citrus, as well as fragrant-floral and lovely in the background. Not too much wood, but a bitter note that suggests the barrel. After a while, green grapes and white melon pulp. Everything is pretty, just not quite as creamy and full as bourbon barrel-aged Keiths of this age group can be.
    • Taste

Here, too, sour-tart, but with additional distillate sweetness that the nose has not revealed. A bit more crisp, bitter oak in the back than mM would have done him good. A few drops of water are advisable despite the low strength to get it to the optimum level.
    • Finish
      87 87
Again, better with minimal dilution. Sweet / fruity / tart, with a pleasant balance.

Fine filling, wonderful fresh nose that forms the strongest part. The palate continues the good impression. Although a little less positive. but all in all very good.
    • Nose
      89 89
soft, gentle without pungent notes, slightly fruity like pears, grapes and green apple, somewhat grassy, floral like hay and fresh, slightly sour bread dough, with some time light citrus notes with fresh mint develop. Vanilla and caramelized sugar are permanently in the background.
    • Taste
      88 88
oily, creamy beginning, here also rather soft without noticing the alcohol, nicely integrated, lime and grapefruit form slightly sour notes, in addition the green apples and pears as fruity notes, slightly sweetish after honey. A slightly bitter herbal note comes through, a nice contrast to this is the oak flavor, although not very pronounced, which remains subtly in the background, but rounds off the harmonious picture very well.
    • Finish
      87 87
medium-long finish, sweet apple syrup, slightly spicy, becoming dry with a fresh mint note and at the end.
