Great distillate driven whisky. I love the fruitiness, but it has even more to offer than simply being a very fruity whisky. Wonderful!
    • Nose
Very light, with hint of fruit (white grapes, green apple peel, apple juice) and a layer of grassiness, followed by a whisper of aniseed. It has a slightly chalky quality too. A light acidity, as well as a subtle waxiness rounds everything out. I love this.
    • Taste
Lemon and grapefruit, as well as green apples and sweet apricots and nectarines. There's even some charred oak and a hint of smoke. Did I mention that I love this?
    • Finish
Chalky, with some drops of apple juice. Medium in length.

Flavor has elements of hot spices, ginger, field flowers, buckwheat honey, cake, caramel, pickled vegetables. taste is bitter with notes of hot spices, hard cheese, cake, barley malt. Finish has elements of dried flowers, baking products, butter, spices.

In fact, it is very open, no preludes: pure fruity sweet aroma of pear and white grapes, confectionery essence, a hint of kumquat, having become drier, notes of fermented raisins from bread kvass (!). Gave him half an hour. The taste of mineral, a little "with blood", a little citrus, anise drop, freshly cut oak wood. Body - light, aftertaste - average. In the aftertaste there is an elusive note of Oriental oil for aroma lamp (?). The aroma is the strongest component, as for me at 91, the rest is simpler, well, and a strong discrepancy between flavor and taste. I wanted to put more, but - deserved 88. Summer molt.

The nose is the best part, and the most fruity

Good hybrid between het spirit and the fruity bourbon cask
    • Taste
      88 88
Not as fruity as in the nose, but very good wit some minor oak in the back.
    • Finish
      87 87
A bit short and not that fruity to hold up the score
