  1. Fred Labosch scored this whisky 73 points Expert Senior

At first it really scores with it's youthful and fresh fruitiness, especially on the nose, but after a few drams you'll realize it doesn't have any depth to it, and it becomes boring really quickly.
I remember this not too long ago as a very balanced and quite sophisticated beginners dram, that had enough layers to it that it could also appeal to advanced drinkers.
The topdressing that this expression probably had, and that made it also interesting to the more experienced palate, appears to be a thing of the past now.
This is young, spirit driven stuff, and that's exactly what it tastes like, nevertheless, this is still far from being bad.
Is this really ten years old??!
    • Nose
A fruit salad made up of bright fruits: pears, apples, honey melon, sweet white grapes, star fruit, bright garden flowers as well, some honey, kind of winey, a metallic note along with some spirity estery notes.
    • Taste
Fruit salad with more emphasis on the tropical side, star fruit, honey melon, sweet white grapes, some pear juice, a little honey, a bit fizzy, a light to medium body.
    • Finish
A faint sourness, some bright garden flowers, a hint of bitter wood, short.
