NOSE: Rubber boots, sherry cask, dried fruits. Mild peatiness. Later also honey and heather, old leather. (88p)
TASTE: The arrival is intense, sherried. On the mid palate concentrated, quite tannic, lots of dried fruits, also a little sweetness. (88-89p)
FINISH: Tannic, sherried, sligthly sweet, peppery, long. (87-88p)
OVERALL: This has apparently improved with air since it was sampled out (my best tasting of this whisky so far). Total score 88 points.
