- An undisclosed blend but almost certainly Speyside from the taste - well worth a punt if you see one lying unloved on an auction website (I expect His Lordship has long since knocked this batch out).
- The style is Speyside - like a Glenfarclas and not bad especially when it was as cheap as chips.
A pleasant nose with a slightly elusive note - a gentle nuttiness or wood almost?
The style is of a sherry base rather than bourbon with some sweet notes coming through - no particular heat to this one.
Not as smooth as an Irish, but there are no rough edges - I wonder if a life time in a bottle has affected the taste slightly to its detriment.
