  1. Portfolioman scored this whisky 83 points Expert Junior

despite the young age a very appealing whisky, tasty and round
    • Nose
      fresh, sweet fruits, oak
    • Taste
strong, spicy, distinct oak tones, yet it looks fresh; creamy sweetness, slight tingling on the palate
    • Finish
medium length, some oak, sweetness fades away quickly

Tasted at Story Tellers: Tasting Whisky in January 2018
quite young, too young actually, had an unpleasant side note of baby puke

  5. wisekycourse scored this whisky 79 points Connoisseur

On the nose, malt, spices and indistinct fruity
On the palate, quite strong spices, the malt present, a little presence of dry wood, it is a little honeyed and rancid at the same time!
In the finish, quite short, the slightly cooked orange comes out with the wood.
A simple dram, but without depth, disappointed compared to 01/2017!

  6. Sandman scored this whisky 71 points Connoisseur

Red apples, pear, marzipan, brown sugar, a little butter, fudge, hint of oak and cinnamon

  7. Corso_theRed scored this whisky 85 points Expert Senior

Pleasantly surprised by this well-matured and quite quaff-able single malt from Stourton, England.
    • Nose
Sweet oak notes are paired with wine gum, honey, cooked rhubarb, and juicy oranges.
    • Taste
Balanced arrival of orange and strawberry jam. Notes of sweet grapes and icing sugar lead into the finish.
    • Finish
Medium. The mouth feel is drier now, with blood oranges and over-brewed black tea. A nice counterpoint to the rather sweet nose.
