It has so many Springbank elements going on but has a lot of unique distillery character. This is a spirit driven dram which works so well. Great beginning to the core range.
So obviously Campbeltown, it has that classic Springbanky nose to it. Earthy, mineraly, limestone like. Coastal air all blowing onto sticky grapes. Cracking nose
Big and powerful, salty and mineraly, some little hints of coal smoke. It has a sweet raisin note on the top. Plenty of wood spice going on as well.
Cigar smoke and limestone just going and going.
