An old Tullibardine bottled in the 1970s, so distilled in the 1960s. The nose is not that special, but on the palate, there's a creamy old-skool fruitiness which is enjoyable. Thanks for the sample Hayo!
    • Nose
Grainy and malty for a start with plenty of cereal, oats, and porridge. Followed by shortbread and biscuits. Some floral notes later on. Touch of vanilla and heather honey in the background. Not much more to be honest.
    • Taste
Now more on yellow fruit of Golden Delicious apples, Galia melon, and papaya. Also fudgy notes of butterscotch and toffee. Creme-brulee. Hints of caramel and milk chocolate. Unexpectedly waxy and oily in the mouth. Pleasant.
    • Finish
Medium long with black pepper and a little ginger. Becomes salty in the end. It's all quite modest and easy.
