Shining gold with a reddish stroke
First of all, I have freshly sawn, damp wood. Slight solvent and floral notes. Then go more in the grain direction. Vanilla, apricot jelly and roasted almonds. The typical sherry aromas are there, but stay gracefully back. Pickled cherries, berries and marzipan. I like the nose very much. There is still something sweet, hellftuchtiges in the background.
With some time in the glass, something like sour gooseberry comes along and a flag of smoke is developing.
Pfeffriger onset. Etz I have somehow warm apple pie. Yeast dough, some cinnamon, crumble and sugar. Mirabelle plums, slightly unripe plums, pleasant citrus notes and more cereals. A mineral component mixes with now. Damp sand. The fine smoke note now also appears in the taste.
Medium to long. Only spicy oak with pleasant bitterness. Then come the citrus notes. At the end, the sweetness prevails and combines with marzipan.
