I bought this Bunna for ca. 85 euros summer 2022. Now my bottle is 2/3 empty so I decided to give this expression a fair score using blenders nosing glass from 1920’s

Light peat smoke combined with lovely floral notes. Yellow grapes, dusty wood, traces of lemongrass and lime. Sweet vanilla and cream. Quite complex on one hand, but I have had better from other Moine releases on the other. Water opens more sweet and floral nuances, smokiness changes towards cola and dried apricots.

Oily and powerful. Much more peat on the pallet. Ginger and liquorice, white pepper kicks inn, sweet grapes and barley. Herbs and ashes in the background.
    • Finish
      88 88
Long and smoky with a touch of iodine. Yellow raisins and salty ham.

Nice and strong with age, interesting finish, intrusive smoke

The brandy has had more influence than the sherry.
