Nice nose on wood, varnish, brine, dark orange, dried fruit peels, slight cinnamon and candle wax.
There is a little peat but it is in the background.
More peat than the nose suggested but still restrained. Oily and briny with a little caramel and cream.
There is something biscuity and a very slight bitterness in the aftertaste.
The peat grows and starts making itself felt after a while but overall you think for a brora it is a little tame.
Medium on slightly bitter caramel.
