    a fruit bomb with a few rough edges
    • Nose
      Citrus, vanilla, slightly pungent alcoholic, grilled pineapple, coconut, many tropical crunchy ester flavors
    • Taste
      strong and very fruity, gooseberries and vanilla
    • Finish
      long, the tropical fruits remain

    I really like it; fruity, sweet and a little fresh due to the citrus and oak notes; even the hidden salt note is interesting;
    • Nose
      Sweet! Vanilla! Gooseberry, lemon, honey and malt! Cornflakes with honey, neat oak / wood, slightly spicy or earthy, maybe even a little salt?
    • Taste
      Again sweet and oily, light ginger, dry and a little bit bitter; Vanilla, honey, malt and lemon, herbs, some wood, acidic, slightly grassy and floral;
      Softer with water and especially fruity with a beautiful citrus note;
    • Finish
      Medium long, warm and spicy, fruity and again citrus!

    Notes von der Website: https://de.smws.com/black-bun-and-black-magic The nose is primarily sweet – we found honey, toffee, syrup sponge and rum and raisin fudge, but there were also elusive, quirky notes that we variously described as linoleum, hessian, Riesling, dunnage and marijuana. The palate is also sweet – mainly iced caramel chews and McGowan’s Highland Toffee but with a spicy flavour reminiscent of Birnbrot (dense Swiss pastry-wrapped loaf made of dried fruits, mainly pear; nuts and spices); other, less obvious flavours hinted at polished wood, linseed oil and putty. Water brought out more spice (the Birnbrot was now Black Bun) and some beguiling bitter chocolate (Black Magic chocolate caramels).
