A bit weak on the palate in my opinion
    • Nose
Shy, very fresh grapes (typical old style), sour apple, some rich sherry components.
    • Taste
A bit watery, sour barley, dark fruits, fresh grass and mints, dark chocolates, dynamic in the mouth with transforming floral and oily flavours mixed with fresh grapes
    • Finish
      Medium, fresh grapes again.

N- Greet you with broad citrus and green apple acidity follow by fresh chili pepper fragrant. Towards farm-y and buttery pastry that evolved to old malt nuance that can't get wrong. Expecting more but lack stamina to swim to glory as the door were shut too early, rather fragile.

P- Comforting sweet malt, toasted cereal with sweet milk, burning incense stick and wood resinous for much needed complexity with smoked beehive honey and subtle bitter fruit peels undertones.

F- Medium-long, well integration of malt and wood. Light touch of spiciness with subtle grassy herbs and spices salts.

    WITH WATER

It gets smoother with a touch of menthol, marzipan with orange & lemon liquers.

This is a very good old Glenugie that is elegent and restrained on the nose but lively on the palate.
    Great stuff.
    • Nose
      (sample)
Sweet candy, pineapple, hint of lemon, honey sweetness with a little sawdust (freshly cut wood in a mill).

    • Taste
Mouth coating, creamy, waxy, honey, menthol candied fruit sweets, pineapple, lemon, orange, but it is a restrained fruitiness and a hint of coconut.
      Quite hot and spicy.
    • Finish
      Very long and very good.

Glenugie 1968 20yo Sestante Bird Label 75cl. 54.8% vol. Sherry Wood Sestante - PARMA Green glass - Full color picture label - cork type - red capsule This was waiting for this one! this! Glenugie of self opening by self! Although it became a cork disconnection incident on the plan, the color of the summer color of a dark eye can not accumulate than the expectation that the fragments of Ori and Cork intersect. Is this Oris? Is it a piece of cork? Such a thing will get better anyway. Anyway, it's Glenugie. For the first time, I can not forget the impact of drinking Glenugie 1966. Well, leave it behind. Already, at Nosing, there is no more pulpy flesh! Old persimmon and mango are bursting and breaking. Unlike ISLAY, ISLANDS 'Whisky thick walled barbecued system, it has a thick pulpy feel. This is just a blow knockout grade comfort. It's nosing with fainting after twisting my neck, groaning "Oh!" "Oh!" It can not be helped even though Whisky enters into my nose. As early as Attach, apricotic return bomb exploded in the mouth. I regret pretty much that I did not buy Kyou's syrup pickles. A dessert of a thousand-year-old taste like to want a dark eyes orange sherbet. Why do you get such a flavor with raw ingredients of malt? Because there is such wonder, I feel another enchantment from the violent taste of grapes. A terrible body with a very homogeneous feeling. The fruity of this hand is a bursting system Distillery, inevitably the outer coating is broken, the fruity fruity inside often seeps out, but there are truly Glenugie! Uniform and uniform sense of the outside and the inside of the front and back are not made to feel the feeling of omission of so-called Old bottle at all. I also like Glenugie, the so-called geeky and apricot of Orange, but as soon as I drink like this! It seems to have forgotten. It seems that trauma of dried persimmon as childhood seems to be blowing off, it seems that it is chewing the finest dried persimmon with a strange astringent, the colorful Munmun style flavor. If this enters the cake, how much taste will jump up? It is a sinful taste that seems to be a sin, which is different from Glenugie overwhelmed by the nuances of so-called pine nature and the sexiness of magic, but if it is the explosive power you can see with the pushing pushing, such a stupid preconceived thing will improve anyhow. It reminds me of the dynamism and the explosive power that the baba at the time of fantasy stakes at the age of two of the former mares Swept Potato is crushed into pieces by four legs. Finish, finally the resinity comes but the world is completely independent of woody. Ecstasy finish of everlasting summer as if dense the papaya (Papaya) to the extreme to the dead resin! It was Glenugie who was able to fully enjoy the vigor of a different cup of energy from the glamorous glamorous glamorous shadow of glamorous shadow than Tomatin. After all, Glenugie is dying! https://whisky2010.usukeba.com/u/whisky2010/1fyharscud7fz5
