    Pretty fruity and spicy - very good

      Lots of green fruits, green banana, little leafy and grassy notes, cookie dough, hints of vanilla, spices, pepper, dry hay, oak wood - very good
    • Taste

      Creamy, sirupy, little punchy, good sweetness, little more leafy and grassy, more green fruits, spices, also some lime and green apple, lemon peel, little ginger - great

    • Nose
      Very high sugar, comfortable and unburdened fruits, Jufeng grapes, marshmallows, green apples, mild and sweet citrus fruits, overall high sweet and low acid; doped with a little green grass, cedar, weak mint leaves It is balanced with salt crystals; but the background is still milk, sugar, oil and other things, including lard, cakes from state-owned restaurants, white rabbit toffee, plain barreled baxi, etc .; maybe some barley, oak Stuffed almonds wrapped in butter, but the woody smell is hard to find.

      Irresponsible guess, this is probably a refilled Cream Sherry (perhaps still sugar supplemented) bucket?
    • Taste
      Citrus fruit petals, skin oil and stems and leaves, grapes, lemons, pineapples, mangoes, preserved fruits, flowering Rosa fruit trees or vines. White rabbit toffee, turpentine, resin, plastic, honey, wood chips, baked grains.

      The fruity taste is more changeable, a little floral and fruity, and the oily feel is still strong, but the toffee is slightly lower than the smell, which makes the turpentine and other flavors more irritating.

      Medium, oily and astringent peel, diluted coconut milk, some spice residue.

    A bit weak on the palate in my opinion
    • Nose
      Shy, very fresh grapes (typical old style), sour apple, some rich sherry components.
    • Taste
      A bit watery, sour barley, dark fruits, fresh grass and mints, dark chocolates, dynamic in the mouth with transforming floral and oily flavours mixed with fresh grapes
    • Finish
      Medium, fresh grapes again.

    N- Greet you with broad citrus and green apple acidity follow by fresh chili pepper fragrant. Towards farm-y and buttery pastry that evolved to old malt nuance that can't get wrong. Expecting more but lack stamina to swim to glory as the door were shut too early, rather fragile.

    P- Comforting sweet malt, toasted cereal with sweet milk, burning incense stick and wood resinous for much needed complexity with smoked beehive honey and subtle bitter fruit peels undertones.

    F- Medium-long, well integration of malt and wood. Light touch of spiciness with subtle grassy herbs and spices salts.

    WITH WATER

    It gets smoother with a touch of menthol, marzipan with orange & lemon liquers.

    This is a very good old Glenugie that is elegent and restrained on the nose but lively on the palate.
    Great stuff.

      Sweet candy, pineapple, hint of lemon, honey sweetness with a little sawdust (freshly cut wood in a mill).

       
    • Taste
      Mouth coating, creamy, waxy, honey,menthol candied fruit sweets, pineapple,lemon, orange,but it is a restrained fruitiness and a hint of coconut.
      Quite hot and spicy.
    • Finish
      Very long and very good.

Glenugie of self opening by self!
