Immediately after pouring full-bodied and multi-layered aromas flow out of my glass. The high-potency alcohol content (53.4%) is very well integrated and hardly noticeable. Rumrosines, plums, dates and figs provide an intense sherry board. Leather, echoes of Christmas spices and a little oak complete the voluminous aroma. In the background glimmer some matches, which give the smoker a special touch. After waiting more than 20 minutes, successively lighter fruits (oranges, a few ripe raspberries) and sweet aromas, which remind me of hard caramelized popcorn, open up.

A wolf in sheep's clothing! The first sip pushes really neat. The mouthfeel is very oily, almost buttery, very full-bodied and already noticeably dry. On the palate, an amazing fireworks are kindled in two respects: Strong sherry goddesses mingle with the matches and fireworks, which now come to life more intensely in terms of taste. Cooked fruits, dates, figs, leather, spices and oak roll over the palate. With a few drops of water, the malt boosts its fruitiness without noticeably losing its power. Juicy oranges, burnt caramel and popcorn follow. On the palate continues to reign a pleasant dryness.

Long, sherrylastig with sulfur. The intense sherry notes, along with the fireworks, vigorously rear up at the finish line and slowly fade away. Burnt caramel, spices and clear hints of oak wood notes join. Also on the finish remains a noticeable, always pleasant, dryness on the palate.
