    35ml / ¥900 @ Sake Museum.

Appearance: Pale gold, a bit darker than straw.

Nose: Huge caramel, vanilla, sweet malt candy, raisins, cherries. Dessert nose.

Palate: Sweet caramel and vanilla, creamy, strong raisins, pepper, cinnamon, light tannic oak and smoke, nicely peppery.

Finish: Light smoke, sweet malts, pepper.

With Water: Needs quite a few drops to bring the alcohol down.

Overall: A huge dessert whisky, balanced by oak, light smoke and salt.

Nice entry level dram at a good price point. Some coastal notes, decent smoke and citric fruits like lime and orange. Full review (in German): https://keinehalbendrinks.de/2019/10/24/bruichladdich-im-original/

WOW! I was blown away with this whisky, still remains one of my favorites, its a real face puncher!

Nose: Perfect combination of different smells that really come well together in this whisky. Earthy mossy and grassy notes, some young maltyness, some hints of citrus and vanilla, despite being a NAS bottling theres also a perfect balanced wood note. Maritime saltyness and some floral notes, caramel and a very slight bit of honey gives it an outstanding balanced nose.

Taste: grainy, mossy, kippery, caramel, vanilla and slight honey along with the maritime saltyness, the wood taste is nearly gone

Body: One of the best bodys of a whisky i had so far, this is what makes this whisky so amazing, you can actually see the oils and clouds in your glass, amazing. Very thick and oily in the mouth, absolutly stunning. Finish gets +5 points because of the body

Finish: a medium lasting finish, probably the lesser aspect in this whisky, but still not bad at all. Sweet and warm
