He does not knock me off the stool now. The nose is pretty closed. In the mouth then at first very pleasant. I do not like this rather moderately integrated finish.
    • Nose
Pretty closed. Vanilla. Apple cider. Pear juice. In addition wood notes and tree sap. I think he needs water. But first without a mouthful. Even with some water it does not really work. But he gets a little sweeter and fuller.
    • Taste
Much sweeter in the mouth. Glucose. Red Apple. Red grapes. Some wine notes, but somehow not so well integrated. Then the oak starts and it gets a bit peppery.
    • Finish
      Pomegranate. Licorice. Drying.

This Linkwood can handle a lot of water, I think. Tastefully in the direction of a bright unchill-filtered glenlivet (the ~ 18-year-old), but with better balance between fruit and oak. The big hit is not it now, but is fine, I think, tasty.
    • Nose
Dry wood, honeysuckle, elderflower, overripe apples that have fallen from the tree, with dirt on the shell. The alcohol does not sting, but you notice it. Less water with wood, more apple, more elderflower, orange, gooseberry, beautiful light-fruity-dirty.
    • Taste
Sweet, slightly earthy, ripe gooseberries and apples, sour. With water thick and oily, spicy, baked apple, gooseberries, earth, vanilla.
    • Finish
Baked apple, vanilla, heavy and oily, stays quite long and sounds slightly dry with apple peel, vanilla and oak.
