A very strange whisky, if you want to call this whisky at all. I would say it is neutral grain spirit matured in a iron tank with lots of liquorice sticks in it. Not completely undrinkable and at least fun to taste (for educational purposes, haha), but not enjoyable at all. What went wrong here?
    • Nose
This nose is very strange. It starts with sweaty socks (yak!). After a while it becomes 'slightly' better with liquorice and fresh sandal wood. Some camomile and other undistinguished herbs as well at the background. Never had such thing before.
    • Taste
An odd palate as well. Lots of liquorice (zoethout in Dutch) again in combination with bitter-sweetness of grapefruit without the fruitiness of it (sounds weird, and it is). Remarkable is that you don't taste the huge alcohol percentage.
    • Finish
Medium long with hints of liquorice (again) and bitterness of... something undistinguished. Even I have no words to describe this. Oakiness and a little ginger at the background.
