Absoluteky love this old style, weird, waxy whisky. Thanks for the sample Henri, instantly bought a bottle

Very nice at first, but the dirty cloth side is a bit annoying
    • Nose
1st honeyed nose, original werthers, with a rag side. With aeration, there is vegetable that arrives, a little rubarb, pear
    • Taste
Mouth also honeyed, round, the cloth is still there (old school?)
    • Finish
Slightly spicy finish, even if the wood is not too present given the age

A photocopied label decorates the sample bottle. A nice touch.

N: Dense nutty putty fusty shortbread.
    T: Sweetish putty & hay.
F: A short finish on honeyed putty.
C: I wrote “Three men in a boat”, but can’t tell you or remember why. It was a filthy fun night.

From memory, I scored it [around] a B.

On the nose, dry hay, a creamy taste or pastry, vanilla and lemon, peel! a little fine spices.
    • Nose
vanilla, multiple grassy and fresh fruity basket
    • Taste
candied fruit on peach, pear and a little mandarin!
otherwise, after the arrival of peppery spices, we return rather sweet, creamy and waxy!
      the vegetal side dominates.

Rating: 73 points, € 19.- Note: Never had such a vegetable whisky before. Very special but not worth repeating. Blind tasted during BOL tasting in December 2017
    • Nose
Smell that I can not really place, an old football pitch, hay. Vegetable, earthy. Wilted flowers
    • Taste
Vegetable and grassy, nettles and wheat.
    • Finish
As if you were tackled with football and a good bite of grass in your mouth. Light sweet. Little development further.
