Excellent balance, I really like this. Tasted at the Wicked Whisky Compagnie Arran tasting
    • Nose
Sweet peat, vanilla, honey, some feint notes. The typical Arran floral notes are still there.
    • Taste
Barbecue smoke, quite meaty but still fruity. Reminds me of baby back ribs with pineapple glaze.
    • Finish
Quite long, the BBQ notes continue.

      Smoke, biscuits, fruity

Long with vanilla and a light coconut flavor

Very different from Islay whiskys - an enrichment really delicious

The colour is a white wine. It’s very difficult to recognise this whisky by the nose, because of there isn’t peat here. Light, sweet and smooth with caramel, pears and perfume notes appear on nose. The palate sweet, dusty, strong, dry and very lightly peaty with white fruits and pears notes. And only on long finish you could feel the peat with spices, fruits dust notes. As for me, I like Machrie Moor ed. 4. I gave 88 points. But this rate is maximum for it.

    • Nose
Gentle peat smoke, fresh, a bit of menthol.
    • Taste
Unexpectedly sweet, even very sweet with honey and apricots including the core. Subtle smoke and a little spice create a pleasant counterpoint.
    • Finish
Pretty long finish in which smoke and spices gain the upper hand.

Very fruity, sweet, lightly peated, just how I like it. Ecellent!
