- A child with a teenage pea.
- SMWS tasting notes:
The fresh, appealing nose has sherbet straws, poached pear, sweet grapes, Trail Mix and an olive press in a bluebell wood. The palate is sluicy juicy, salivatory and sweet – passion-fruit, kiwi, custard apple and grape up front, with cocoa, honey-glazed walnuts and pepper drying the finish. On the reduced nose, floral perfumes tussle with earthy notes, evoking a Mediterranean scene of lemon groves, pine forests, azaleas and a picnic of Waldorf salad and pineapple. The reduced palate is precocious and more-ish – nutmeg and oak, lemon drizzle cake and pineapple create a tingle that lingers long in the mouth.
