Aroma: dried fruits (pears, apples, raisins), dry tobacco leaf, caramel, brown cane sugar, tree bark, distinct grain motifs, similar to roasted malt, cinnamon. The aroma is not full of nuances, but very pleasant.
Taste: caramel, cotton candy, dried fruit compote, hot pepper, cloves, cinnamon, astringent walnut partition walls, turning into a pleasant oak tannins.
Finish: burnt caramel, some spices, wood tannin, decaying bitterness of citrus peel, of medium duration.
The result: a very well-tailored 12ka, of course, does not lead to a variety of tastes and aromas, but everything is very consistent and tasty. Founders Reserve who tried earlier is also very decent, but still if the price difference is not critical, then it is better to take this 12k. I guess I just like their style, because rarely there is a desire to buy another one with an unfinished bottle!
