The nose has fine sherry influences with aromas of stewed pears, spring flowers, blackberries, apple pie and subtle hints of cocoa. A drop of water gives aromas of sweet vanilla, butterscotch, baked apples, brown sugar, rich fruitcake, apricot and an accent of custard. The taste is soft and creamy with notes of vanilla, toffee apple, ripe pear, banana, chocolate and hints of spices. With water there appear tones of stewed apples, citrus peel, licorice and toasted oak. In the aftertaste there are notes of roasted macadamia nuts recognizable and with a long lasting fruitiness.
