  1. whiskyinstitut scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

A horny round part, barely youth, Ardmore at its best.
    • Nose
Wood smoke, stir-fried raspberry shrimp, engine room, caramel, pickled strawberries
    • Taste
Red fruits, very subtle smoky notes, oily, my machine oil, again a mix of sautéed plums, strawberries and raspberries
    • Finish
Rotfruchtiger peat smoke, oak, quite subtle dry, beautiful heat

Tasted at the Whisky Festival in Radebeul.
    • Nose
The smell is something between walnut and sherry. Chocolate, sherry, pine wind and nuts. (87 pts)
    • Taste
The perfect sherry leachate from the barrel. Sweet, windy and brutally whisky. Dark fruity, with forest honey, a touch of conifer and bad luck. (93 pts)

    • Nose
Subtle, sweet pipe smoke. Very oily. He really smells like oil. Pickled cherries, wet earth. A good portion of leather. Hot chocolate with a few drops of lemon. Sweet caramel and gingerbread spice. Smells really a bit after auto repair with oil change and some exhaust fumes. I think this dirty nose is pretty cool.
    • Taste
Sweet leather meets it exactly to the point. Full sherry charge. Chocolate without end. Herbs push behind. But also earthy and a filthy Modrigkeit. Everything but very oily. The second sip is followed by pickled berries and tobacco. This light, sweet smoky note is above all. The alcohol plays nice in the form of some menthol.
    • Finish
Long. Light smoke. Very, very oily. Beautiful chocolate sweetness. Slight bitterness with berry jam.

Again, some water could help, in my opinion, he would have tolerated a few more years
    • Nose
young sherry aromas dominate and are carried by the alcohol note, cherries. The Ardmore character comes with slight smoke but still good effect
    • Taste
earthy sherry punch with some smoke in the finish. The young one notices by the still completely integrated alcohol
    • Finish
A bit more bittersweet chocolate urges itself through the tingling mouthfeel

  7. ColdAesthetics scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

Phew, you have to test it with water, so it was a bit too strong and extreme, I like the ardmores in which the smoked bacon comes through nicely, Refir Sherry Ardmore is best as I think.
    • Nose
Beautiful Schokonoten, dry hay, brown sugar, cocoa powder, engine oil, dark caramel and cherry brandy (rather cheaper), something of the Ardmorerauch is also with the related hay and engine oil also through, although the sherry can cover strong
    • Taste
Cocoa powder, slightly mellow barrel, chocolate pudding, earthy notes and dates slightly scorched, raspberry jam a bit, the Ardmore hay, nice autumn leaves, coconut chips, dark nougat, children's chocolate beans
    • Finish
Dark chocolate, quite strong still, oak spicy, dry, very warming due to the alcohol, a few dried berries vllt., Medium to long through the% -force.
