Color: light gold
Nose: One of those malts where you want to smell "to the ground". At "first glance" an unimportant Speyside standard, if you give it time and listen, a lovely juicy play of aromas from barley, malt, caramel, vanilla, pear, canned peaches and malic acid - I could now say 100% Speyburn, but I leave that to the professionals here. Sniff! Nothing big - just beautiful. -
Fits! The mixture of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon works, very pleasant as the spice of the Spanish oak gives the malts sufficient depth, blindly that could be a sweet wine finish a la Sauternes or Marsala. Well cute. :) This punch with the spice and pepperiness to the point is great.

sufficient - if it is too short for you, you can lengthen it with one sip
