- Original Notes from the SMWS website: https://smws.sg/whisky/exotic-cargo
"A silky veil sweet of vanilla and butter pastry engulfed our senses like wearing warm and toasty tea cosies inside our heads. Floral honeysuckle and elderflower tantalised and teased before delicately delivering custard creams, candy canes and pink Turkish delight. A citric breeze of kiwi and fresh strawberry passed by perhaps mixed and mashed into a creamy milkshake. Then the dry spiciness of pink peppercorns and sweeter garam masala with turmeric blending perfectly with the woodiness of dry seasoned oak. The finish was rich and long lasting, chewy and pleasing, with a memory of butter on toasted malt loaf."
- N- Young and immensely hot, penetrating raw strength that masks the rest at the beginning. Breathing time needed for this, search for the restrained notes of sticky honey, vanilla, mars bar with zest of green mango and some nice guava skin. Still quite grassy with whiff of oak shaving, hue of carpenter workshop.
P- Surely, is hot, is spicy and get ready to sweat a little, and beware not to get choked here! Stiff solvent notes interplay with toasted pepper, evolved to lightly burnt crepe suzette gravy with liquorice candy.
F- Long, powerful and punchy spicy notes with uprising smoky strength. Not so cosy, perhaps "Backyard on fire" a better expression here. Lips burning that evolved to sticky sweet liquorice minted fructose.
