Extension: Ex-Bourbon barrel
Region: Highlands, Scotland
Nose: Mild honey, but quite a bit. Vanilla and toffee, sweet cream in a wooden bowl. Slightly dry. Fruity with peach, but loses itself in the honey. The flavors change nicely.
Palate: Much more intense than the nose, really strong vanilla and also the honey is clearly present. Whipped cream and butter crumble, with peach compote. The oak brings spices, including some cinnamon.
Finish: Long and very beautiful, much spicier than on the palate. With malt and tidy oak.
Conclusion: Rarely found and then very expensive - rightly so.
