  1. Calmar scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

The magnificent aroma, fresh, sweet, intoxicating and at the same time strictly woody, mineral, full of half-tones, reminded me of the Portuguese moscatel de setubal, the taste / finish for my taste is quite peaned. Unfortunately in the development of the fragrance quickly exhaled, manifest spirits, notes, taste / finish rather improve, there is some averaging.
    • Nose
Open, dry, a lot of raisins, dried grapes, dusty candied fruit of tropical fruits, mangoes, dry boards heated by the sun, dry medicinal herbs, fortified white wine, such as muscatel, light mineral notes - stone crumb, dry plaster, chalk.
    • Taste
Rich, oily, there is more oak here, bitterly astringent notes of young bark mixed with sweet raisins and grapes, lollipops, tropical fruits, mangoes, papayas.
    • Finish
Spicy, refreshing rather than warming, raisins and oak, a little ginger and pepper, herbs, tropical fruits, fruit drops.

  2. Frion83 scored this whisky 78 points Expert Senior

Aroma: Soft, vanilla-prune with light nutty notes. Dried apricots.
Taste: Dried apricots, raisins, smoked prunes and a little vanilla. Distant light smoke.
Liquid, oak is small and the finish is a bit short.
    Overall a nice old blend
