    - unfortunately a complete disappointment in the bottle
    - for 25-30 € as a beginner malt in the supermarket
but for 65-70 € the joke in bags!
    - very weak, very watered down at most average
    • Nose
Oak, subtle sweetness, very subtle restrained overall impression
    • Taste
also very reserved, slightly smoky, somewhat watered down
    • Finish
      short, slightly smoky finish
      short, slightly smoky aftertaste

    Sorry - not my case!
For less than 30 € it would be okay - I don't see him any better than the (old) 12-year-old.
The first 40% whisky that I felt alcohol on!
    [Color] full gold!
    • Nose
      75 75
      mild, fresh, citrus aromas, herbs, sweetness, little smoke, little oak;
    • Taste
      76 76
      Gentle, mild, quite thin step, still alcohol, light fruits, sweet (honey), flowery, herbs, pepper, delicate smoke;
    • Finish
      73 73
short, sweet, slightly bitter - and already gone!

N- Butterscotch , vanilla cream, cardboard, peanut brittle
P- Thin, sweet, kippers, vanilla, light pepper
    F- Spices, sugary, still vanillas

It’s simple, cheap, and not that bad. Just far from great

I had a pretty good laugh reading the back of this bottle with it’s typical HP marketing speak. “Unapologetically bold”. Well, not quite. But for being one of the cheapest single malts in my local market, it does an admirable job. It’s got the usual heather-honey-light peat profile of HP. Throw in some lime and soy sauce for good measure. The finish pulses with some sharpness, however it’s not too unpleasant compared to many other young and cheap NASers. A good intro to the HP house style for beginners and a basic enjoyable sipper for more experienced drinkers.

Heather - butterscotch - nectarine - faint smoke
    • Taste

Floral - vanilla - smoke almost imperceptible - but some deptj
    • Finish

Dies quickly - just a little lingering toasted heather and alcohol, surprisingly for such a low proof.

Pleasant enough, and fairly priced when you buy it in the United States at 40 or so dollar.
    • Nose
Delicate citrus notes (mainly lemon peel and orange syrup), followed by a good amount of porridge and vanilla, some heather and honey, as well as a certain dustiness.
    • Taste
A more distinct peatiness here, which was barely noticeable on the nose, accompanied by some sugary sweetness, as well as fudge and caramel, and a hint of pepper and salt.
    • Finish
Fairly dry, with a spicy touch. Medium in length.

Tasty, too little alcohol and definitely outrageously expensive.
    • Nose
soft, mild and fresh. Citrusy floral and herbal notes, some lavender. Green banana, physalis and star fruit. Vanilla pushes through the background into the nose. Over time, a slightly herbal smoke comes through, just enough to make it perceptible. Not overly complex, but quite pleasant.
    • Taste
soft, pleasant, but unfortunately also thin and watery. The fragrance cargo is there, but if the 6 - 8 volume percent more, it would be really good. The smoke is more noticeable than in the nose, in addition to lemon abrasion and bitter oranges. Cream caramel in the background, which makes the wateriness a little creamier.
    • Finish
Fresh pepper and a mineral earth note.

All round easy HP, a bit watered down, bananas, salted butter caramels and a distant coastality.
