GlenWyvis Distillery is the world’s first 100% community-owned distillery with over 2,600 members from throughout the Highlands and far beyond. GlenWyvis has historic roots, but it is also highly innovative and will be 100% powered by renewable energy.
GlenWyvis will bring distilling back to Dingwall, a Highland county town with a whisky heritage that begins with old Ferintosh distillery in the 17th century, and the new distillery also honours two other local distilleries both of which closed in 1926 -Glenskiach and Ben Wyvis.
