With a history dating back to the 1850s, the Langatun Distillery was reopened in 2007 by Hans Baumberger, great grandson of the original founder Jakob Baumberger. There are four principal single malt bottlings:
- Old Deer, a triple distilled classic single malt, produced from unpeated barley, and matured in former sherry and Chardonnay casks. Old Deer is offered at 40% and at Cask Proof.
- Old Bear, again triple distilled single malt whisky, but produced from peated barley, and matured in former Chateauneuf-du-Pape casks, and offered at 40% and at Cask Proof.
In addition to Old Deer and Old Bear the distillery regularly bottles single casks and other limited editions.
