Zum Whisky bin ich 1995 gekommen. Aus einer Laune heraus mit Freunden habe ich an einem Whisky Tasting teilgenommen um etwas Neues auszuprobieren.

Ohne Vorkenntnisse haben wir völlig unbedarft an einem Islay Fassstärken Tasting mit Prof. Walter Schobert teilgenommen und ich war gleich infiziert. Ich liebe Islay Whiskys und die „Japaner“, bin aber beim Whisky eigentlich überall (außer beim Bourbon) unterwegs und probiere auch gerne neues aus.

Meinen Whisky sammle ich nicht um ihn zu besitzen, sondern um ihn (später) zu trinken. Darüber hinaus sammle ich noch Whisky Werbung (Figuren, Pins, Schilder und (Werbe-) Poster / Flyer). Wer hier etwas abgeben möchte darf sich gerne melden :-).

My Whisky career started 1995. One evening I and two of my friends joined a whiskey tasting with Prof. Walter Schobert to try out something new. Without prior knowledge, we participated totally clueless at an Islay cask strength tasting - and I was infected.

I love Islay and the Japanese whiskies, but I also have a look at the rest of the worlds whiskies (except Bourbon) and I also like to try out new ones.

I collect whisky not to possess the bottles; I want to drink them (later). In addition, I also collect whisky advertising (figures, pins / badges, signs and (advertising) Poster / Flyer). If you want to sell some stuff like this, please contact me :-).
