Originally an Islay addict from 2000 onwards and then sold almost everything I had between 2010 & 2012. However, my love of whisky was rekindled following a talk by Ian Buxton in late 2014 and since then I have explored a far greater range of products. My aim was to obtain all the 101 whiskies 'to try before you die' listed within both versions of this book which I have now completed - with many bottles acquired a second time which can be viewed from my open bottles; whisky is for drinking after all isn't it ! isn't it ???  Update 25/11/16 - thank you Ian Buxton, another 45 whiskies I think I now need to find & try (3rd edition of the book) - I have a few of them already, others are on order and a few appear harder to track down.........I'll find them ! Update 02/02/17 - all extra bottles in the 3rd edition now obtained :)

I am trying to expand my collection of old style Bruichladdich (pre 2000) but bottles issued by the distillery - not Independent's. If you have a bottle you wish to sell or trade, please let me know. Thanks.

210.000 bottles milestone release

A new release for the 210.000 bottles milestone. We just passed the 210.000 registered bottles, which calls for a new whisky. We selected an M&H pomegranate wine cask, which matured at the dead sea (the lowest point on earth). It is a huge flavor bomb. However, with only 255 bottles available, you should not wait too long.
