I'm Phil Gow, the creator and host of the YouTube channel First Phil Whisky. I started the First Phil Whisky YouTube channel in 2020 to share my love of whisky.

I believe that whisky doesn't have to be complicated, and I want to create informative and entertaining videos. My videos cover various topics, from whisky reviews to whisky education. I also share my experiences visiting whisky distilleries and whisky festivals around the world.

I have a background in video production, and I use my skills to create high-quality videos that are visually appealing and easy to watch. As one of New Zealand’s top spirits and whisky communicators passionate about storytelling, I want to use my videos to share the stories behind the whiskies I review.
