Yakinuki Tenka is a seafood and meat restaurant headed by chef Ofer Hermoni, who qualified as a chef in Japan. A yakinuki is a traditional Japanese grill, on which meat, fish and seafood are grilled. Over the years, the Japanese perfected a revolutionary method known as smokeless roasting, that does not create smoke and is used solely for the finest cuts of meat, fish, and assorted seafood. The yakinuki's popularity soared, and it has grown into a sophisticated, precise industry. Japan now has thousands of yakinuki restaurants – ranging from inexpensive ones to luxury dining establishments.
Located in Herzliya Pituach, the Yakinuki Tenka restaurant represents the Japanese yakinuki culture in Israel. Chef Ofer Hermoni worked in Japan for six years and learned the various methods applied in Japanese cuisine. Together with his brother, he founded Yakinuki Tenka, and brought to Israel a different kind of Japanese cuisine – original and delicious.
We greet diners at the entrance with flaming torches, and welcome them to the interior that's designed in authentic Japanese style. The space is divided into private dining areas, separated by traditional thin paper partitions. Service at Yakinuki Tenka is meticulous, courteous, and professional, insuring an intimate, appealing atmosphere. The food is delicious and the whole experience relaxes the senses, like nowhere else in Israel.
