Visited on a Wednesday around midnight, quiet and only a handfull of guests.

Staff is attentive and polite with highl level of knowledge and interest for whisky. Quiet hours = super service.

5 private casks on offer. Tried the 7YO Laphroaig and the 19YO Springbank, both excellent.

Leftovers from tastings are sold "dirt cheap" while it lasts, got a truly great 28YO Bowmore for £3,50/cl

Another good location in Oslo to have 'a wee dram' of whisky. Even though the ambiance of Dr. Jekyll's Pub could be better (it is not very cosy and often crowded and noisy), there are two bars on different floors with a broad selection of Single Malts and other quality spirits. Some bottles seem to have sat on the shelves for quite a long time, so beware if fill-levels are low.

Prices are rather high (even taking into account Norwegian standards), but occasionally there are events with discounts on various malts. Regular tasting sessions are being organized via Facebook. The bartenders are qualified although often very busy. Altogether, a recommended but not necessarily spectacular location.

OK whiskybar.
OK selection.
Ambiance could have been better. Gets a plus for having to different floors With individual bars.
Think some of the whiskes have been opened to long. Tasted one that felt a bit stale.
Service is really good.

Fantastic selection of whisky considering the bar is located in Norway. You'll find twice the selection in some other countries, but also bars with one fifth of what Dr. Jekyll's has to offer. I love that they have they're own cask (Highland Park matured in sherry cask), and it's an amazing whisky if you consider the age.

The atmosphere is pretty decent as long as you are there on non-sports nights, and leave before the young people starts drinking alcopops.
Can't complain about the prices.
