I got a bottle of Rittenhouse Rye off my daughters. Never had it but I have heard good things about it. happy

Haven't had Rittenhouse yet, but like Rye very much (Bulleit, James E. Pepper 1776). Let me know what it's like, please.

Reg. Fathers Day I am a bit behind with procreation, but my sis will shortly return from the US with a liquid gift, if I am lucky. I tried to instruct her, but you know, especially on the country-side liquor selection tends to be overseeable and I am obviously not interested in whiskeys I might as well buy here (and there's a lot of 'em). I was going for an American malt whiskey and/or a smoky one, but I'd rather not get my hopes up too high... wink

Got a small tax refund and decided to spend some of it on whisky.

It's probably not worth a post in "Best bargain" so I consider it as a fathers day gift to myself wink
1 Aberlour A'bunadh #54
2 Glendronach 12yo
2 Highland Park CS
1 Cardhu 12yo
and 1 Bulleit Bourbon
As mentioned not at a bargain price but with the 2 HP-CS's and the A'bunadh at 60,7% I think I got a fair amount of alcohol and drinking whisky for £240  happy

Sorry Linc I wanted to love it but it's a terrible film, a complete mess. By the end my brain was completely fried.  sad

I am hoping Godzilla v Kong is something special.

I agree, not great but worth every penny watching my wife trying to stay awake through it.
