About Octomore Cult Club
Are you a peat head who loves Octomore? I once thought you needed to love peat to love Octomore. But you don’t. When I first heard about Octomore and that it was heavily peated, I never thought this would be a scotch that I would like let-alone want to drink?
When I really got into scotch early last year, I was asked “are you a sherry-head or a peat-head?”. I thought the question to try and define what I like was ridiculous. I like what I like and if I happen to love a sherry or peated scotch, it had no baring if I was favouring one over the other.
Octomore was my very first peated scotch that I tried. And both me and my wife loved it from the very first nosing and sip! Does this make me a peat-head? I don’t think so as I don't love a scotch just because it is heavily peated. We love Octomore for what it is. Yes it is a heavily peated scotch whisky and it being the most heavily heated scotch is a factor in what it what makes it so special.

I wanted to start this club for Octomore aficionados that want to talk about their favourite scotch whisky. And to keep-up on the latest releases and news about the most heavily heated scotch whisky in the world!
October seems to have a cult following. And yet, I find no Octomore clubs or blogs on the internet? Is this marketing? Or is there really some hard-core Octomore lovers like me out there that can’t get enough of their favourite heavily peated scotch whisky? Well, lets see how big the club can be with the Octomore enthusiasts out there in cyber-space.
This Octomore club is for the Octomore lover that can’t get enough of their favourite unique scotch whisky! Anything and everything about Octomore can be discussed here.
To your next dram of Octomore!
