Also very expensive and a bit of a mystery since nobody in the whisky industry here in Japan seems to know who is behind this. It is clear to people who know the field - that they buy at stores and on auctions in Japan - and then sell with serious markups.

I agree some of them are expensive, however some of these whiskys are never seen or available in the UK.

So if you want to get hold of a bottle, you have to pay for it. Unfortunately this is the way of the whisky trade today.
