I was browsing our Nova Scotia Liquor Commission outlets in Amherst today as my wife was shopping for, well, who knows what, when I  came across this bottle mixed in with the current HP 18. I asked the staff about it and they said they didn't know where it had come from but that is was priced the same as the current 18 yo ($199.98). As I live about 2.5 hours away from this location I couldn't leave it behind. It wasn't in a box it was just sitting there naked.

Can anyone verify that this is the genuine article?  It looks legit to me. Was that a good price to pay? It has to be doesn't it?

Great find ! The bottle might have been a return or something like that. Happened to me at the Ottawa's LCBO when I stumbled on a random Glenlivet 12 2009 packaging last month. Not as great of a find as yours but since it is from the Liquor Commission, I would guess it is the genuine stuff !
