Russetmuscat

Nose

Porridge and malted milk. Walnuts, butter, chocolate, figs and mince pies. A hint of fabric softener. Very nice indeed.

Taste

What a rich mouthfeel, oily but very woody. The fruit keeps wrapping itself around the timber, but its an uneven fight. Nevertheless its a charming effect.

Finish

Musty spices and old wood linger on into the night.

Comments

Mightily oaked, but deeply charming nonetheless.

 

It's better to have drunk it all than never to have drunk at all.

Nose

Sweet spicy malt in a fruit basket. also a little mokka and caramel. A bit like candy. Complex.

Taste

Sweet malted flavours with bitter oak. Lots of herbs and spices together with ripe fruit and butterscotch. A little citrus. Very pleasant.

Finish

Very long, dry and bittersweet finish.

Great complexity.
