Color

Pale straw

Nose

Surprisingly fresh with little impact from the oak for the 34 years. Lots of apples are setting the tone here. Wet stones, bread, tonic water and grassy notes. Clean and nice.

Taste

Smooth, fresh, clean and tasty - tonic water, juicy apple pie, mirabelle schnaps, white pepper and vegetables. Also earthy with wet stones.

Finish

Medium long becoming spicy, dry and stony.

Comments

No more than my third whisky from Banff distillery and quite a good one without any unpleasant notes.
