Gin clear

Nose

grist/cereal, white oak, honey, lemon, faint dried fruits, (88)
Later: much more fruity now, the longer you wait, the riper the seem to turn (much later even with a slightly fermented fruit aspect). Guava, passion fruit, ripe bananas, vanilla, pastry,  licorice, leathery & earthy notes now as well (90/92)

Taste

milky, silky, sweet-sour, chocolate w cherries, guava, mango, (in a tasting more alcoholic feel than expected) (91)

Finish

raspberry spongecake, turning dryer/oakier, baked apples, honey, beeswax, a touch smoky. (92)

Comments

Seems to fare better on it's own than in a tasting next to other whiskies.

 

Remember - whisky scores and impressions are highly subjective and situational by nature - so don't go and buy whisky according to someone else's taste...
